We have put on several successful events in the last year, including;
Arts & Eats at The Fen – ‘Yes, but is it Art?” – led by Simon Raven and fed by Judith Raven
Magic, Mists & Mellow Fruitfulness walk in Bungay – led by Chris Reeve
Creative beachcombing at Covehithe – led by Simon Raven
Behind the Glass with Surinder Warboys
Midwinter Light concert and poetry at Wingfield Barns – led and curated by Janet Koralambe, Brian Guthrie, Philippa Williams
George Orwell in Southwold walk – led by Ronald Binns
Charles Rennie Mackintosh in Walberswick walk and lunch – led by Lynda Ayres
Holton Lodge Barn exhibition, cream tea & talks by local artists, led by Hilary Garner
Mother & Son artists talk at The Cut - Telfer Stokes in conversation with Nicky Stainton about his art, and that of his mother Margaret Mellis.
In October 2025 there will be a combined walk and poetry workshop in Bungay, led by Chris Reeve and Lynne Nesbitt, called The Ecstasy of Nature The Nature of Ecstasy.
We have also continued to promote and support the work of our members through our monthly newsletter. As you will see from our financial statement the future of Waveney & Blyth Arts is in the balance, but we have had a successful year, despite challenging times, and most importantly continued to fly the flag for the arts in this wonderful corner of the world.
