This is a hands-on, fun workshop for singletons, couples and families (young and old). Location – The hamlet of Covehithe (North Suffolk’s last remaining wild coast access point!)
Cost – Waveney and Blyth Arts members = £6 / Non-members = £8. Under-18s are FREE. Pre-Booked Tickets. Please bring proof of purchase with you.
Parking – Free parking on road-side verges where the 2 access roads converge just before St Andrew’s Church (NR34 7JW)
Trifold Leaflet – Everyone will be given a trifold leaflet featuring beachcombing advice and ideas to take away!
Bring a picnic lunch and something to drink. Wear walking shoes and bring a rucksack or bag for any ‘finds’!
NB. There are no public toilets at Covehithe but this is an isolated part of the Suffolk Coast with plenty of cover if you’re ‘taken short’!
Itinerary 12pm: Meet at the church for a brief introduction to the afternoon’s activities 12.15: a 25/30 minute walk along the cliff-top path to Benacre Nature Reserve 12.45: Picnic and Chat on the beach 1.15 – 2.30: Creative Beachcombing Workshop using pebbles and found detritus 2.30 – 3.00: Return walk to vehicles
