I would be delighted if you could join me and fellow Waveney & Blyth Arts trustees for a summer tea-time picnic in our garden in Halesworth at 4pm on Thursday 14 August.
Our plan is for an informal gathering to celebrate the rich history of W&BA – and to have a look at what its future holds. Simon Raven, who many of you will know, has stepped down as trustee – with us since our launch 15 years ago – and we also want to give him a good send-off.
We will provide drinks – tea/coffee, soft drinks and wine – but bring anything else you might like to drink. Please do bring food for yourself and/or to share - whatever you want to bring is fine - it always works out!
Our main purpose is to celebrate this lovely community, but we will also use this opportunity to have our AGM later in the afternoon. Don’t worry, the formal proceedings will be minimal but we would love to involve those of you who are willing in a conversation about our future, which is looking uncertain past the end of the year.
So that we can get an idea of numbers, please will you book a ticket (no charge). We will send details of the address, parking etc nearer the time to those that book.
We look forward very much to seeing some of you then. And fingers crossed for good weather!
